<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a 'supple feel' and a 'sound sense of stability' to a golfer at impact and to attain the compatibility of a stable flying direction with an increase of a distance. SOLUTION: The shaft for golf clubs consisting of a fiber reinforced resin is enhanced in the rigidity of its grip portion by arranging a grip reinforcing fiber layer which consists of a carbon fiber layer of >=40,000 kg/mm2 in modulus of elasticity in tension and is 0 to 15 deg. in the fiber angle of the carbon fiber layer to the axis of the shaft between a point A of the grip end and a point B existing within a range of 100 to 350 mm toward the head side from the point A.</p> |
