<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst with an improved water treatment capability. SOLUTION: A photocatalyst 1 is formed in a shape simulated to a plant and provided with a leaf part 5, which is a flaky carrier, and a stem part 7, which is a supporting part of the leaf part 5. At least the leaf part 5 has a flexibility as to nod by water current 9 and carries a photocatalyst. Consequently, every time when the photocatalyst 1 with a simulated plant shape swings and nods owing to the water current 9, the contact efficiency of the photocatalsyt with the harmful substances and microorganism in the object water to be treated is heightened and the water treatment efficiency of the photocatalyst 1 can be improved.</p> |
