PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic sintered body production process which improves performances in forming, dewaxing and sintering, and reduction of inter-lot dispersion in sintered body product quality, etc., even when a thick green body or fine-powdery ceramic raw material having a very small average particle size is used. SOLUTION: In this production process, the water content of a powdery ceramic raw material is controlled so as to be within a prescribed range, and more specifically, adjusted to <=0.4 wt.%, or preferably <=0.3 wt.%, in the blending preparation of a slurry of the powdery ceramic raw material, wherein a fine-powdery ceramic material having a <=1 μm average particle size is preferred and also at least one powdery material selected from powdery silicon nitride, sialon, aluminum nitride, alumina, mullite, zirconia, LaGaO3, silicon carbide and molybdenum disilicide can be used as the powdery ceramic material. |
