PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripper which is movable itself to an opening and closing position by driving a rope drum and, however, impossible to automatically reach an opening position and which is obtained by improving a gripper arranged in such a manner that a gripper is able to slide along the pull shaft of a crystal pulling device. SOLUTION: The gripper arms 14, 15 cross to each other and holding jaws 16, 17 of these gripper arms 14, 15 are each arranged on the opposite side, with respect to a crystal block 1, of each rotary bearing 12 or 18 of corresponding to each gripper arm 14 or 15. Working arms 18, 19 are each arranged on the opposite side, with respect to each gripper arm 14 or 15, of each rotary bearing 12 or 13. |
