PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing gear for an opening with movable louver, capable of attaining safe and prompt escape by fully opening an outer frame at the time of escape, combining both the functions of anti-entry and shielding from the outside, protecting person's privacy, and controlling lighting and draft. SOLUTION: This closing gear for an opening with movable louver is provided with a louver opening control mechanism 5 and a locking mechanism 6. With a number of louvers 4 rotatably-mounted at a vertically-fixed spacing inside an inner frame 3, whose one side is pivoted to an outer frame 2, capable of being open outside from a state accommodated in the outer frame 2, the former is mounted on the inner frame 3 in such a condition as is synchronous with respective louvers 4 and the latter locks the inner frame 3 at the outer frame 2 at a closed position where the inner frame is accommodated in the outer frame 2. The louver opening control mechanism 5 is formed so as to be capable of selecting and retaining the opening of the louvers 4 by means of vertical movement operation and is formed with a shielding member 34 preventing the unlocking operation of the locking mechanism 6 which is in a locked posture when it is at the position for opening operation of the louvers 4.
