PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing coupling structure which can couple a vertical casing and a horizontal casing to each other, without forming a step therebetween. SOLUTION: There is provided a casing coupling structure which couples a hollow vertical casing 1 and a hollow horizontal casing 2 to each other. The vertical casing 1 has its internal end cut, to form a notch 10. Coupled to the notch 10 is a casing cap 9 which has a horizontal casing coupling portion 3 to which the horizontal casing 2 is coupled. Further, an end of the horizontal casing 2 is installed on the horizontal casing coupling portion 3, and the vertical casing 1 and the horizontal casing are rigidly fixed to each other via the casing cap 9, by means of attaching tools 8 which are attached to the casings from the outside of the vertical casing 1.
