PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a floor polish remover having excellent floor polish removability. SOLUTION: This floor polish removal composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of benzyl alcohol and 10-1,000 pts.wt. of an adduct of n mol of ethylene oxide (n is 1-10) to benzyl alcohol. The composition may be formulated with an ordinary additive such as an amine.
