PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn winding device which is low in height of the facility, low in facility cost, excellent in workability, and high in safety. SOLUTION: A feed roller is arranged above a yarn switching and winding machine, an inversion roller is arranged below the winding machine, a plurality of yarns fed from an upper part of the feed roller are converged with specified intervals in the vicinity of an entrance of the feed roller, and wound around the feed roller, the intervals of a plurality of yarns are expanded to the pitch of the package to be wound above a bobbin holder in the winding machine from the pitch at the feed roller. After the yarns are wound around the inversion roller, the yarns are wound onto a traverse bobbin holder by a traverse device of the winding machine.
