PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production parts list managing system capable of making integrated management of the parts list information used in various fields of application and preventing generation of misalignment between different applications. SOLUTION: The master item information 11 containing ordinary item attributes used in various fields of application and attributes of the parts list level indicating which hierarchy the applicable item belongs to reckoned from the upper grade level among the hierarchies of the master parts list and the by-application object code for judging existence or non-existence of object by applications and the master composition information 12 containing information concerning the master-sub relationship for all items are entered by a by- application parts list preparing means 21 and the by-application item information is prepared by judging the item information and output attributes of the object from the information of the bit position and in-use item attribute name among the by-application definition information defined in the by-application parts list definition information 13 containing the information of the method to prepare the by-application parts lists from the master parts list containing the master item information 11 and master composition information 12.
