SOLUTION: In a printing method in a thermal printer, the current supply time to the heating element corresponding to an interested dot to be developed in color is regulated corresponding to whether the dot at the same position at the interested dot to be developed in color of a previous line and the dots on both sides of the interested dot are dots to be developed in color.
