PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display visually easier the content of teaching items when an item selection screen is displayed. SOLUTION: To perform the selection of operating system of a robot main unit, teaching of moving points, teaching of palletizing system, and inputting (setting) of various types of teaching data such as speed setting by a teaching device 7, an operator selects an operation setting mode with a mode selector switch 20, and selects a set menu above a touch panel 15. Then, an item selection screen showing a plurality of teaching items by icons I1 to I8 is displayed on a display part 14, and an animated cartoon expressing the content of the teaching items is displayed in each of the icons I1 to I8. By selecting either of the icons I1 to I8, the teaching data input setting operation can be performed for the selected item. In addition, an illustration M3 expressing a current mode is displayed by animated cartoon at a specified position (left upper side corner) of the display part 14.
