PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for continuously coiling wire rods for preventing the external flaws on the surface of the wire rod and deformation of the wire rod in relation to the detection of the sag amount of the wire rod and contributing to improve the reliability by simplifying the device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a coiler for coiling the wire rod which is drawn out of a wire rod manufacturing device and traveled, sag amount detecting device which is arranged between the wire rod manufacturing device and the coiler and with which the sag amount of the wire rod is detected in non-contact state, coiling controller for controlling the coiling speed of the coiler based on the detected result with the sag amount detecting device and, moreover, guide member for guiding the wire rod to the detection area of the sag amount detecting device provided on the traveling route on this side of the sag amount detecting device.
