METHOD FOR REFINING PALLADIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high purity palladium prepared by minimizing platinum and selenium as impurities in palladium. SOLUTION: This method for refining palladium from palladium-containing aqueous solution of ammonia includes steps of neutralizing and oxidizing the palladium-containing aqueous solution of ammonia to oxidize and precipitate platinum and selenium as impurities, filtering them out, allowing palladium to crystallize out of filtrate and filtering it off.
