PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible composite material with an integral flight and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The composite material is formed of, for example, a silicone rubber, a urethane rubber, a polytetrafluoroethylene or another polymer. This material is useful to manufacture a conveyor belt used for a manufacturing article such as, for example, high temperature food processing. Such a conveyor belt is excellent as compared with conventional technique at points of preventing slipping of an article during conveying, low cost manufacturing and easy cleaning.
