COMPOST PRODUCTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an efficient compost production device which is compact in and can agitate and mix the organic wastes housed in a housing vessel uniformly over the entire area including the vertical direction therein by an agitating device. SOLUTION: The housing vessel in which the organic wastes are housed is provided with the agitating device having a vertical type screw for agitating the organic wastes in the housing vessel and during the housing of the organic wastes into the housing vessel, this screw is activated and is moved in its position within the housing vessel, by which the organic wastes are composted while the organic wastes of lower layers and the organic wastes of upper layers are agitated and reloaded during the compost production.
