PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved cooling circuit for a gas turbine. SOLUTION: In a multistage turbine rotor, pipes 56, 58 are arranged in an opening near a rotor rim, through which heat medium is passed to rotor buckets 22, 24 and used heat medium is returned. The pipes have lands 70 with predetermined thickness of walls isolated from each other in the axial direction and thin pipe portions 72 existing between the lands and being thicker as tending from the front end to the rear end of the pipes. A pair of holding plates 106 is carried on the rear end face of a rear side wheel, extended across the pipes and engaged with the shoulders 97 of the pipes, to prevent the backward displacement of the pipes.
