PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent distortion of opening upper and lower walls in a wooden building by mounting diagonal members between the column and stud of the opening upper and lower walls. SOLUTION: This hardware comprises a pair of horizontally adjustable diagonal members 1, a member 2 to be fixed to a column, a member 3 to be fixed to a stud, and a member 4 for fixing a sill to the column or fixing the sill to the stud.
