PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of socks capable of giving excellent feeling of wearing by being fitted to the legs, especially when used in doing sports, and softer feeling of fitting compared to the case where elastic yarns are put in. SOLUTION: This pair of socks is designed in such a scheme that a number of stitches of a part 2 covering the swollen shank emphatically requiring feeling of fitting is twice a number of stitches of other part 3 so as to give softer feeling of fitting compared to the case where elastic yarns are put in.
