PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify distribution of ink without error in measurement regions provided in each of ink distributing zones. SOLUTION: This device is for measuring the ink density of a printed product, especially, of a printed sheet prepared by an offset printing machine with the help of a densitometer. The device has densitometer measuring head which is movable along a measurement zone 3 consisting of a plurality of measurement region 4. A signal from the denstimeter measuring head can be converted to the density value of ink to be distributed to ink distributing zones at the analysys unit 7 connected to the rear part. The analysys unit 7 has a computer which stores information relative to the arrangement of the ink measurement regions 4 for the ink printed, in the individual ink distributing zones. Besides, the ink density value of the measurement region 4 is compared to the ink density value, of an adjacent measurement region 4 belonging to the same ink and measurement region type, which is obtained in accordance with the state of the measurement zone 3 using the computer. |
