PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure recording method capable of recording an image of high quality at a high speed by easy control. SOLUTION: Images are continuously recorded on recording regions A1, A2 excepting a recording region C12 being a superposed part by laser beams L1, L2 and, in the recording region C12, the number of main scanning lines recorded by the laser beam L1 is gradually reduced while the number of main scanning lines recorded by the laser beam L2 is gradually increased to form an image wherein the joint of the recording regions A1, A2 is inconspicuous.
