PURPOSE:To provide superior resistance to abrasion and reduce the generation of surface marks of a tape in the high speed dubbing process by using a specified acid content and polyester as main components and blending the specified amount of a composite oxide of specified particle diameter therein. CONSTITUTION:An acid content mainly composed of aromatic dicarboxylic acid and polyester containing at least one kind of glycol component are used as main components. Composite oxide particles prepared by heat decomposing at least two kinds of chlorides or more selected out of chlorides of Al, Si, Ti, Zr, Fe, Zn, Sn, Sb and W are contained in the main components. The average primary particle diameter of the particles is 0.1mum or less, and its content is set in the range of 100ppm-5000ppm. Aluminum is preferably contained in the composite oxide particles at the ratio of 20-90 molar % to the total amount of all metals. It is also preferable that the composite oxide particles are selected out of Al2O3/SiO2, Al2O3/TiO2 and the like. |
