<p>PURPOSE:To detect transparent material and body except quartz material with ultraviolet light and conduct position detection, size measurement and count by using the detected signal. CONSTITUTION:Ultraviolet light emitted from a light source 6 in an ultraviolet floodlight part A is made a parallel beam 8 by a quartz lens 7 and the ultraviolet light in a specific wave length is passed by an optical filter 9 in an ultraviolet reception part B. Scattered light is cut off with an optical slit 10 and the light beam is condensed with a quartz condenser lens 11. Scattered light is cut off with an optical slit 12 and the beam is received with an ultraviolet reception sensors X13 and Y19, which is converted to electric signal and amplified with an amplifier 14 and input through a cable 15 to a count logic 16 of a counter part C. If a glass bottle 18 blocks the ultraviolet light 8, 20, the signal becomes D1, D2. At the moment of completion of blocking for 8, counting is started at the timing of count UP and D3 and an indication data D5 is input and displayed in an indicator 17.</p> |
