PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp excellent in a guiding property for a rod-shaped body to be inserted therein. SOLUTION: This clamp is equipped with a base body 1 fixed on a mount member, a pair of embracing pieces 2, 3 erected on an upper surface of the base body 1 and forming a U shape whose opposite end parts spaced apart from each other, and a lid piece 4 openably/closably connected to an outer surface of one embracing piece 2 by means of a thin-walled hinge part 5. The rod-shaped body is embraced inside the pair of pieces 2, 3 by closing an opening formed between the ends of the pair of pieces 2, 3 by the piece 4. The end parts of the pair of pieces 2, 3 are increased in wall thickness toward the end edges, and taper surfaces 10, 12 for guiding the rod-shaped body are formed on respective insides of the thick-walled end parts. Because of the surfaces 10, 12 formed on the insides of the end parts of the respective pieces 2, 3, when the rod-shaped body is inserted between the pair of pieces 2, 3, the rod-shaped body is guided by the relatively long surfaces 10, 12, thus making the insertion very smooth.
