PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead plate-assembling body capable of easily adjustable vertical position of a dead plate table to easily maintain a matched state of the dead plate surface with a conveyor surface. SOLUTION: This dead plate-assembling body is applied for section of I.S. machine. The assembling body has a dead plate table 12 for cooling bottles produced in the section and arranged periodically. A plenum 22 having a cyclic head part is set below the dead plate table 12 and the cyclic head part has a cyclic hermetic inside surface 24. A cyclic seal is fixed on the bottom of the dead table 12 so as to form seal with the plenum 22. The dead plate 12 is supported on a compressed spring and so the vertical position of the dead plate 12 can be adjusted by a screw.
