PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel jig for inversion which improves the safety and workability when hoisted by a crane in inverting a plate-like heavy article, and requires no skill in the inverting work, and is adaptable for the plate-like heavy articles of various dimensions. SOLUTION: A plate-like heavy article inverter comprises a roller A3 projecting from a bottom part of a box-like body with open top comprising a first U-shaped support frame 1 and second face and reverse support frames 2A and 2B, opening/closing facing plates 2b in the second support frame, and locking means 7, 8, 9, 9 on the side surface which are tightened to pull the opening/ closing facing plates to each other, extended upward from a center part of an upper part of the side surface and stretch a suspension wire 6 engaged with a crane.
