<p>PURPOSE: To provide a device for mounting a connector on a printed circuit board by which the connector can be tightly, reliably and easily installed on a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A mounting device on printed circuit board 16 is arranged in a housing for installing an electric connector 10 to be mounted on a surface of a printed circuit board on a surface of the printed circuit board. A C-shaped member for regulating upper side and lower side leg parts 26 and 28 which are insertable into a pair of slots 38 and 40 of a dielectric housing 12 is provided. At least one of the slots has tapering tip parts 46 and 48, engageable with the respectively single free ends of the leg parts to energize the printed circuit board installing device to a fixing position of the housing.</p> |
