PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side-ditch structure conformable to both road gradient and water gradient, capable of setting the water gradient to an optional gradient to the road gradient, light-weighted compared with a conventional side-ditch, and easy to set. SOLUTION: This side-ditch structure 1 is formed of a box made of concrete, consisting of a side-ditch upper wall 11, a side-ditch lower wall 12, a side-ditch right side wall 13 and a side-ditch left wall 14, and having a size of height 1700 mm, width 440 mm, and length 200 mm as the whole. The wall thickness of the side-ditch upper wall 11 and the side-ditch lower wall 12 is 70 mm and constant over the longitudinal direction. The outer wall surface 11a of the side-ditch upper wall 11 is inclined 6 mm (d=6 mm, gradient 0.3%), and the inner bottom surface 12a of the side-ditch lower wall 12 is inclined 4 mm in the same direction as the side-ditch upper wall 11 (d'=4 mm, gradient 0.2%).
