PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage case for simply putting in/out a disk cartridge while the cartridge stored in a shell-formed body can be securely held so that it cannot be dropped. SOLUTION: A first recess 6 and a second recess 7 are provided on opposite peripheral side faces of a disk cartridge 1 to be stored. The first and second recesses 6, 7 are used to engagedly hold the cartridge 10 received in a body 10 so that it cannot be dropped. That is, a protrusion 20 to be engaged with the first recess 6 and a protrusion 21 to be engaged with the second recess 7 are provided respectively on opposite wall surfaces among peripheral side walls 14 of the body 10.
