PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for an on-vehicle electronic instrument with a complete mounting of the on-vehicle electronic instrument and a high reliability. SOLUTION: This fixing device for an on-vehicle electronic instrument which self-contains an IC card reader writer is provided with a connection tool 4 for connecting a car body and the electronic instrument and having a narrow portion 4-3 of a blind hole shape and a lock lever 5 provided in a box 1 of the on-vehicle electronic instrument and capable of fixing by engaging a second tip end 5-2 with the narrow portion 4-3 of the blind hole shape by a rotation force of a twist spring 10. A first tip end 5-1 of the above lock lever 5 is superposed on a card 2 at the time of insertion of the card 2. Thereby, a rotation of the above lock lever 5 is inhibited.
