PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint execution method, in which the impact resiliency of a foam is utilized effectively, the execution of works is facilitated and ensured and excellent sealing performance can be held for a prolonged term, in the joint execution method in which a joint filler is bent at one time or more and overlapped and put in an opening between members. SOLUTION: The joint execution method, in which a closed-cell foam having delayed shape restorability is bent at one time or more and overlapped and put in an opening between members 2,2 and the opening is sealed, has the relationship of M<=0.8×(n+1)×L between the thickness L of the closed-cell foam recovered to an original shape in a non-load space at normal temperature and atmospheric pressure and the opening M between the members of joint execution when the number of bending is represented by (n) in the closed-cell foam 1 used having delayed shape restorability.
