PURPOSE: A LCD using a data relay is provided to compress and extend the data so as to restraint the EMI(ElectroMagnetic Interference) and simplify a data bus. CONSTITUTION: The LCD(40) comprises a driver ICs(44) partially driving a LCD panel(42) by at least 2 or more bits video data, a bus compressor(34) to compress at least 2 or more bits video data into one analogue signal and to output the analogue signal, and a bus extender(46) to extend at least 2 or more bits video data and to output the extended video data to the driver ICs. The bus compressor is equipped with at least 2 or more voltage controllers respectively installing to at least 2 or more bit lines respectively inputting a bit data stream and changing the voltage level of respective line to the different ratio each other and an adder generating and outputting an analogue signal by adding the voltage signal from at least 2 or more voltage controllers. The extender is equipped with a quantizer quantizing the analogue signal from the compressor and an encoder restoring at least 2 or more parallel data by encoding the quantized analogue signal.
