PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission mechanism which has such excellent durability that it can be repeatedly used without breaking a damper main body, and to which freezing protection can be securely provided at a low cost. SOLUTION: In a driving force transmission mechanism 30 to transmit rotation driving force of a prime mover side output shaft through a damper means to a transmission side input shaft, the damper means comprises a damper main body 31 comprising a circular body of rubber-like elastic material provided between a prime mover side case and a transmission side case, engagement receses 33 and engagement holes 32 to be alternately engaged with engagement protrusions 18 provided on the prime mover side case and engagement protrusions 20 provided on the transmission side case in the same plane perpendicular to a shaft direction are provided in the damper main body 31, and relief parts 32a, 32b for preventing generation of cracking in the circular body of rubber-like elastic material are continuously formed with the engagement holes 32.
