PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection counter to solve a problem that the conventional inspection for acceptance/rejection of a pressed material depends on the judgment and labor of workers, and the efficiency is very bad. SOLUTION: The inspection counter comprises a non-treatment shelf 1 to place a pressed material 7 thereon, an inspection table 32 to hold the pressed material carried from the non-treatment shelf, a detection mechanism 3 to detect the acceptance/rejection of the pressed material from the direction of both ends of the pressed material on the inspection table, a delivery mechanism 4 to deliver the pressed material judged appropriate by the signal from the detection mechanism to a temporary placement frame 5 and count the number thereof, and a moving mechanism to collectively bundle the pressed materials of the specified number at the temporary placement frame, and move them to a treatment shelf 6 arranged below the non-treatment shelf in a downwardly inclined manner. A pressed material collapse controlling means, a sensor 8 to stop the movement, and a flattening mechanism to appropriately reverse a carrying device are arranged on the side opposite to the inspection table. A passing mechanism 93 may be provided on a limiter so that the pressed material can be immediately delivered after it is detected.
