PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external applicator of an equipment for thermotherapy which is likely to draw a tube as well as unlikely to be laid under a patient. SOLUTION: This external applicator involves reflux pass 18 of cold liquid having supply inlet 7 for cold water and effluent outlet 8 for cold water, and in external applicator 1 worn with sticking to the external surface of a patient, the supply inlet 7 for cold water and effluent outlet 8 for cold water, as above described, are set towards the body surface and the perpendicular direction of the patient. There are no problems such as winding tubes around the patient body, the tubes are readily drawn, and also it is very few to prevent reflux by being laid under a patient.
