PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drivable mechanism for a user to operate in the same operating method and attitude as those of a prior art by eliminating a method for driving a wheelchair by a hand rim for operating the chair and to clean it by improving conventional defects. SOLUTION: A tire 3 of each of wheels 2 of the wheelchair 1 is covered with a tunnel type cover 4 having several bearing cases at a lower part of a cornice 5 at both circular arc-like ends without contact. The cover 4 is obtained by engaging a cover guide 9 through a bearing 10 and a spring 11, and the case 6 and a bearing 6 are combined, and fixed to a cover holding fitting 8 fixed to an axle 7. Accordingly, the cover 4 is rotatably held, and can be driven by the cover of the tire.
