PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holdable type individual package of an absorbent article well to take out the absorbent article and capable of simply wrapping a used napkin without generating the bleeding fear of menstrual blood or the like and solving the point at issue such that it is difficult to cover the whole of the used napkin to wrap the same so as to prevent the bleeding of menstrual blood to the outside in discarding the used napkin when the size of the used napkin is large or the absorbing amt. of menstrual blood or the like is much. SOLUTION: An individual package has a napkin 11, a packaging film 14 having a plane larger than the napkin, an attaching tape 13 and a release tape provided in opposed relation to the adhesive part of the napkin 11. The packaging film 14 has a bag-shaped part 14a. The napkin 11 is placed on the packaging film 14 through the release tape 12 and folded in this state to be fastened by the attaching tape 13. In discarding a used napkin 21, the used napkin 21 is put in the bag-shaped part 14a to be fastened by the attaching tape 13.
