PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sickle which can mow grasses, can simultaneously carry the mowed grasses to hand, does thereby not necessitate to gather the mowed grasses, after the mowing work, and can also be used as a rake by the use of a comb tooth portion disposed on a blade plate. SOLUTION: This sickle is obtained by disposing a comb tooth portion 3 on the front surface side of a blade plate 1 having a blade edge 2 on one side edge 1A. The comb tooth portion 3 is formed by arranging plural projections 3A upward projected in a prescribed length on the blade plate 1 in the longitudinal direction of the blade plate 1 in a comb tooth-like state.
