PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing a plant tissue without sterilizing a medium, a culture container, etc., and sterilely transplanting a plant tissue. SOLUTION: A plant tissue is cultured by using a plant tissue culture support medium containing a vermiculite having 0.1-10 mm average particle diameter and a cellulose fiber having 0.01-5 mm average fiber length in the formulating ratio of the vermiculite to the cellulose fiber of 5:95 to 95:5 by weight and having 0.01 to 2 g/cm3 density and a culture solution containing a sterilizer in an amount capable of preventing contamination of various germs only by the sterilizer.
