PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide materials having reduced vibration to be caused in high speed revolutions and high speed movements and high elasticity, and molded products using the same. SOLUTION: High vibration absorbent materials comprise a phase containing an alicyclic olefin polymer such as the one obtained by hydrogenating a ring- opened polymer of 8-ethyl-tetracyclo[4.4.0.12,5.17,10]-dodeca-3-ene and a phase containing a flexible polymer such as a polybutadiene rubber with inorganic particles such as talc and calcium carbonate unevenly distributed in the phase containing a flexible polymer. Molded products for information recording members such as disk substrates and carriages can be obtained by using these materials.
