PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sugar chain compound easily bondable with a compound having a group non-reactive with carboxyl group as exclusive group such as protein, enzyme, carrier and pigment without causing steric hindrance, etc., in introduction and keeping the reactivity with an antibody even after the introduction as an antigen. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a sugar chain compound having an optionally substituted amino group bonded through a bivalent hydrocarbon residue, a carrier holding the sugar chain compound in immobilized state, a human serum antigen sensitized particle immobilized with a sugar chain compound containing an antigen site same as the human blood type antigen among the above sugar chain compounds, a reagent for the determination of human blood type containing the sugar chain compound and a method for determining human blood type by using the sugar chain compound as an antigen.
