PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tonneau board for a luggage compartment of an automobile in which a size of a small article to be housed is not restricted although a length of a presser belt for retaining a small article housed in a small article housing part is constant. SOLUTION: In this tonneau board for a luggage compartment of an automobile, a small article housing part 2 and an expandable/shrinkable presser belt 3 for retaining a baggage 5 housed in the small article housing part 2 are provided on an upper surface of a tonneau board body 1 provided so as to cover an upper surface opening of a luggage compartment. An engagement means 4 for adjusting a tension of the presser belt 3 is provided on the other end side of the presser belt 3 of which one end side is fixed to a luggage board body 1. Since a little small article 5 and a large small article 5 can be certainly retained by adjusting a tension of the presser belt 3 by the engagement means 4, a size of the small article 5 housed in the small article housing part 2 is not rarely restricted.
