PURPOSE:To provide the reversible display medium with which repetitive display by using a thermal printer or laser printer, etc., is possible, overwriting by using a pencil is possible and erasing by using an eraser is possible. CONSTITUTION:This reversible display medium has the constitution successively provided with at least two layers; a recording layer 12 with which the repetitive display is made possible by an external effect and a layer 1 with which the writing with the pencil is possible on a base material 3. This base material 3 may be provided with a light reflection layer. The recording layer 2 is capable of repeating a light scattering state and a transparent state by at least one effect of heat, electric field or magnetic field. The layer 1 with the writing with the pencil is possible is preferably a coating film by a sol-gel method using a silane coupling agent contg. inorg. particles. |
