PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the splashing of oil smoke and oil produced during cooking of grilled slices of meat. SOLUTION: Handles 11 and 11 of a hot plate body 6 of the hot plate having a protective frame 1 constituting an outer peripheral surface, the hot plate body 6 freely removably housed into this protective frame 1 and an electric heater 5 for heating the hot plate body 6 are provided with oil splash preventive walls 12 for preventing the splashing and dissipating of the oil to the surroundings by enclosing the circumference of the hot plate body 6 so that the splashing and dissipating of the oil smoke and oil produced at the hot plate body during cooking of the grilled slices of meat are prohibited by the oil splash preventive walls 12.
