METHOD FOR JETTING INK DROP, APPARATUS THEREFOR, AND MEMORY MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good printing quality at low cost without a deviation of a landing position by preventing a driving voltage from changing even when nozzles are exposed to the air in a non-jet state in a method and an apparatus for jetting small liquid ink drops of not larger than 20 pl and in a memory medium. SOLUTION: A non-jet driving waveform 10 is comprised of a driving pulse signal A for projecting an ink meniscus from a nozzle and a driving pulse signal B for drawing the ink meniscus into the nozzle. Both the driving pulse signal A and the driving pulse signal B have a peak value (voltage value) of E (V) (e.g. 20 (V)). The ink meniscus is oscillated at least once or more by the non-jet driving waveform immediately before the nozzle jets first after having exposed to the air in a non-jet state for a while. The ink locally increased in viscosity in the vicinity of the nozzle is diffused. A state not different from a normal state is obtained when the ink is jetted next. A decrease in ink-jet speed and a reduction in volume of ink liquid drops are suppressed accordingly.
