PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cooking heater in which cooking performance is enhanced by quickening the temperature rise in the chamber while establishing the insulation performance and improving the heating efficiency and energy saving performance by shortening the heating time. SOLUTION: A reflecting section 15 constituting a part of a heating means 25 is composed of FumdSio2 having an ultrafine porous structure. A heater 16 is buried and secured while exposing a part thereof to the surface of the reflecting section 15 and an insulator 27 is inserted between them. Since heat from a heater section is reflected efficiently into the chamber, heating time can be shortened while enhancing heating efficiency, energy saving performance and cooking performance.
