PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club having an insert which is easily mountable to a club head body. SOLUTION: The insert 60 of the golf club head 52 having the insert 60 is disposed in a recessed part 58 of the club head 52 and the depth of the recessed part 58 is deeper than the thickness of the insert 60. The insert 60 includes plural tabs on its periphery and can be intrinsically floated within the recessed part by engaging with the wall of the recessed part.
