PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic foamable polyurethane resin composition capable of providing a foamed body having a high strength and durability by an extrusion molding or an injection molding, excellent in moldability, and capable of providing homogeneous and dense inner cells by using a thermoplastic polyurethane resin. SOLUTION: This foamable polyurethane resin composition is constituted by including the thermoplastic polyurethane resin, an alkyl methacrylate-based polymer, expandable microcapsules and a general foaming agent. As a result, the surface appearance becomes good because the melt viscosity of the resin is increased by the alkyl methacrylate-based polymer, and the foamed body of the thermoplastic foamable polyurethane resin in good foaming state with fine uniform inner cells and the hardly roughened surface is obtained because the moldability is improved by heightening the stability of the molding by the thermally expandable microcapsules and the general foaming agent.
