摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the choice of using an antiskid brake system(ABS), e.g. to shorten the brake distance by locking wheels according to road conditions and traveling speeds, or to prevent a traffic accident from occurring caused by ABS, because a driver of an automobile may not know well the operation characteristics specific to ABS in the antiskid brake system(ABS) for an automobile holding the traveling stability of the vehicle, while shortening the brake distance by preventing the lock of wheels and setting the slip ratio of the wheel within a prescribed range. SOLUTION: As a means for solving the above problems, this method allows a driver to appropriately choose the use or non-use of ABS at any time according to driving road conditions and traveling speeds. Switches (SW1-4) intermitting the current flowing from a wheel speed sensor to a control circuit are inserted as shown in a selection figure 1. The figure is attached to a place where the driver is easy to operate so as to appropriately cope with driving conditions changing at all times. Choices of the brake methods for the automobile are thus enlarged and weak points for being automation are compensated so that the driving of the automobile becomes safer.
