PURPOSE: An exhaust brake is provided to improve the safety of a vehicle by automatically decelerating the velocity of the vehicle by operating the exhaust brake based on a signal of an ECU when a steering handle is operated over a predetermined angle while the vehicle runs over a predetermined velocity. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust brake includes an exhaust brake valve(58) for opening/closing an exhaust manifold so as to decelerate a vehicle. The exhaust brake valve(58) is operated by an exhaust brake switch(51). An acceleration switch(53) and a clutch switch(54) are turned on/off incorporated with an acceleration pedal and a clutch. A magnetic valve(55) is provided to supply/shield pneumatic pressure. The exhaust brake valve(58) is operated when the pneumatic pressure is supplied into a brake chamber(57). An ECU(60) is provided to control the magnetic valve(55) such that the velocity of the vehicle can be automatically decelerated when a steering handle is operated over a predetermined angle.
