PURPOSE: An apparatus for extracting a sample value using an estimate value in an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) is provided to extract the sample value from received data by transmitting the sample value for informing a state of a scrambler to a descrambler, and extracting the sample value and synchronizing with the scrambler in the descrambler. CONSTITUTION: An estimating value input unit(11) receives an estimating value from receiving data. A plurality of syndrome calculating unit(12) checks whether an error exists from the estimating value input unit(11). A selecting unit(13) selects a portion in which the error does not exist from a plurality of syndrome calculating unit(12).
